NOTES

this is my first fanmix of anything, ever; i do hope it holds itself up. i was quite nervous about this!

the mix was structured as an instrumental soundscape: the pestilence of dreams, the suspension of memory, limbo. well, it's my own weak attempt at it, anyway.

the music is a salad toss of avant-classical, minimalism, electronica, and ambient, waylaid by the occasional morricone guitar and sampling.

i'm thinking of working on another mix for inception that sounds at least marginally less doomed and considerably more punchy. :)

i love you SO much for this. i'm more partial to vox-less music and am working on a fanmix as well that focuses on the dreamscape and feel more than the words. and this totally made my day. great selections and visuals. and yesss steve reich and sigur ros <3

This is absolutely incredible. I'm stick wracking my brain, trying to process the complexity -- the thought, love and attention -- that went into it. Between the track choices, the construction, the visual aspect -- this is one of the best Inception mixes I've seen. Hell, it's one of the best mixes period.

Definitely don't be afraid to fanmix a little bigger, darling.
